Employers lock maid at home before going on holiday

AMPANG: A Cambodian maid was rescued by police after being locked up in a double-storey house in Pandan Indah here for nearly a week.

The maid, 18, was left with little food by her employers, who are believed to be on holiday.

Teratai assemblyman Jenice Lee said the girl's plight caught the attention of the neighbours, who passed her food through the grilled windows.
